Beatrice Sparkman, 77 a lifelong resident of Keystone Heights died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the E. T. York Center in Gainesville. Beatrice was born on Dec. 2, 1931 in Auburndale to the late Grady Elliott and Frances (Thompkins) Park. Beatrice had been a member of the Freedom Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Her survivors include her husband of 58 years: James Sparkman and their children: Donna Henderson (Larry) of Keystone Heights; Debbi Rayl (Michael) of Ashville, NC and Danita Jacobi (Michael) of Gainesville. She is also survived by her siblings; Lucille Rogers, Dick Park, Vera Whitfield, Larry Park, and Bill Park. Grandchildren: Jeremy (Erin) Brian (Valerie), Michael (Lauren) Justin, Ian, Tammy, Whitney, Allison, Brad, Trevor, and three great grandchildren. Visitation for Beatrice will be held on Wednesday, July29, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 8p .m. in the Freedom Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30th at 10 oclock in the Freedom Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Herring Officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
