Bebe Joyce Nash

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bebe Joyce Nash, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world on September 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on August 10, 1940, in Jacksonville, Florida, Bebe's life was a testament to love, compassion, and creativity. 

Bebe dedicated her life to caring for others. Her nurturing spirit and appearance radiated through her family, including her cherished sons Bobby and James Nash, beloved daughter Debra Kinsey, sister Dot Cooner, daughters-in-law Kimberly Nash and Stacy Nash, sisters-in-law Barbara Nash, Carol Nash, and Eileen Nash, brothers-in-law, Jimmy Nash, Mark Nash and George Baker, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Bebe was preceded in death by her husband, James Nash, daughter, Tammy McKinley, sister Thelma Baker, sisters-in-law Linda Rooker, Lynn Degeorge and Faye Spalding.

Bebe's love for her family was evident in the countless family cookouts she hosted and the warm Christmas celebrations that brought everyone together.

An avid lover of ceramics, Bebe found joy in creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit. She enjoyed relaxing in front of The Hallmark Channel and watching Sci-Fi shows like CSI, finding comfort and excitement in their stories. In her earlier years, she cherished taking vacations and had a special fondness for the thrill of gambling in Biloxi, Mississippi.

A devoted Christian, Bebe's faith was a guiding light in her life. Her commitment to her church community added depth to her compassion and kindness, touching the hearts of those around her.

Bebe will be remembered not only for her kindness but also for her zest for life and the laughter she brought to her family and friends. All her life, she loved animals, but it was in her later years that she adored her cats, who she fondly referred to as her babies. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life for Bebe will be held at Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd. S., Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. Bebe will be laid to rest with her husband, Bobby Nash.

Bebe Joyce Nash's light may have dimmed, but her memory will forever illuminate the lives she touched.
