It is with heavy hearts but profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ben F. Crawford, on the Sabbath, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on January 6, 1932, in New Brockton, Alabama, Ben embodied the spirit of dedication and hard work that defined his life's journey.

Ben was a long- time business owner, known for his honesty and commitment to excellence during the time as owner of Crawford's Amoco on Williston Road, and co-owner with his son Cristopher, of Clydes Tire & Brake on Archer Road.

Ben leaves behind his wife, Marjorie Crawford, whose love and companionship enriched his life for 70 years. He is also survived by his children, Kathy Stineman of Black Mountain, NC, Geoffrey Crawford and wife Jamie of Katy, TX, and Cristopher Crawford of Archer, FL.

Ben also leaves behind four grandchildren, Chaz (deceased) Hailee, Tracy, and Travis Crawford, who brought him joy and laughter throughout his life.

As we celebrate the life of Ben, we invite family and friends to gather at the graveside in reverence and love. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 11:00 am, at Forest Meadows Cemetery-Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue Gainesville, FL 32606 where we will honor his memory, share stories, and reflect on his life. A memorial service to commemorate his life will follow in the future.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gainesville Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2115 NW 39th Avenue Gainesville, FL 32605 in Ben's name, reflecting his spirit of giving and caring for others.
