Mrs. Bernice Davis age 89, of Middleburg passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park. Bernice was born on April 4, 1935 in Goldsboro, North Carolina to the late Emmitt Louis and Ada Jones. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Her biggest hobby was watching westerns on TV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Cleveland H. Davis. Survivors are, children, Charles Davis (Kathy), Beverly Whitener (Dwight), Teressa Lacko (David), James Davis (Chris), sister, Lowrice Howell, grandchildren, Chuck Davis, Billy Davis, Nik Whitener, Heather Gillis, Heidie Conaway, Holly Waldron, Robert Davis, Curtis Davis, Lisa Davis and Johnathan Jateff. Also left are thirty great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Black Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 8:30 am to 9:00 am with funeral services beginning at 9:00.
