Bertha Mazie Savage, age 87, passed away February 10, 2024, at the Palm Gardens Nursing Home. Bertha was born in Milton, DE on November 8th, 1936, to parents Joseph and Dorothy Manship. Ms Savage was well known for love of Softball, fishing, and bowling.Preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Helen Callahan, Emma "Louise" Marshall, and Dorothy "Merita" Truitt and son William E. Savage Jr. . She is survived by her brothers Joseph Martin Manship Jr. (Barbara), John Manship (Jo) , sons, James Savage, Joseph Savage (Melinda) daughters Ramona "Lynn" Lynch (Jeffrey), Patricia Temple (Craig), Dorothy Hitchens and a special godson John Harris and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.A public viewing will be held Wednesday February 14th at Forest Meadows Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm.Funeral Services will be Thursday February 15th at 10:00am at Greater Love and Faith Church with Pastor Neal Butler. officiating.
