Obituary

Mrs. Beth Ann Bright, 53 of Keystone Heights passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Gainesville. She was born in Beardstown, Illinois on February 13, 1959 to the late George and Vera Pate. Mrs. Bright had been a longtime resident of this area and was a member of the St. Annes Episcopal Church in Keystone. She loved flowers, watching NACAR races, but most of all she loved being with her beautiful grandchildren. Mrs. Bright had worked at the Smith Lake Bar for 14 years and also at the P & J Quick Stop. Preceded her in death was her son John Bright, Jr. and her sister, Laura Lee Marx. Survivors are her husband of 37 years; John C. Bright, Sr., children; Amanda Bright Tyler (Carey) of Keystone Heights, James Arnold Bright (Amanda Elliott) of Tampa, Heather Goetzman (Shaun) of Arcade, NY, Dennis Marx (Racheal) of Pleasant Plains, AR, and Matthew Marx (Jacquilyn) of Hawthorne. She also leaves behind her siblings; John Hall of Beardstown, IL, Richard Hall of Sterling, VA, Eric Pate of Bradford, AR, Lawrence Pate of Butler, NY, Shelia Sprinkle of Rushville, IL, eight grandchildren; Ciarra Ann, Wyatt, Andrew, Angel, Garrett, Lily, Ryder, Marlee and one great grandson; Jacob Jr. A memorial service for Mrs. Bright will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Hendrick officiating.
