Mrs. Betty Koscuik Dias, age 74, died on April 26, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs, FL.Born on July 27, 1936 in Holyoke, MA, she moved to Pittsfield with her parents Nellie & Armondo Luppi with her five sisters. She attended local schools and joined the U.S. Marines Corps in 1954 where she met her first husband Henry Koscuik. They Married in St. Marys Church in Pittsfield in 1956. They moved to Phoenix, AZ and lived there for four years, then they lived for a period of two years at Clark Air force Base in the Philippines and then to Orlando, FL for one year. They returned to Pittsfield, MA where Betty worked at Adams Supper Market for ten years. Betty married John Dias in 1969 and moved to Southwick, MA. She worked for Columbia Manufacturing in Westfield, MA for 11 years. They moved to FL in 1980 where they owned and operated two small businesses until retiring in 1992. She is predeceased in death by her first husband Henry Koscuik, three sisters Marion Spagnoulo, Rhea Berthiaume and Ann Griffin Sheran. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years John Dias. Two sisters: Helen Whalen of Daytona Beach, FL and Eileen Collins of Holly Hill, FL. She is also survived by 9 nieces & nephews and 10 great nieces & nephews. One step-daughter; Vera DAvella of Pittsfield, MA and one step-son Scott Dias of Lansboro, MA. and 4 step grandchildren. Betty will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery in Daytona Beach, FL.
