Betty J. Edwards, age 89, 0f Gainesville, FL. Died at Terrace Health & Rehab Center. Betty was born in Atlanta, GA. On November 2, 1931, to the late Chester & Maude (Ellenberg) Gray. Betty moved to the Gainesville area 40 years ago to be close to her daughter. Betty worked for several years as an Admissions Representative at the Georgia Baptist Hospital, in Atlanta, GA. Betty was a very social person who enjoyed Saturday's hair salon appointments and going to the mall. She particularly enjoyed her Florida home and neighbors in Gainesville. Betty is preceded in death by her parents & siblings, as well as her husband of 40 years, Warren "Tabo" Edwards. Betty is lovingly survived by her daughter, Debbie Farrar, Grandchildren; Lauren Farrar and Greg Farrar, and Great Grandchildren; Gus Farrar and April Farrar. Betty's family and friends will gather 1:30-2PM at the Westside Baptist Church, 10000, W Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32606 on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 2pm.
