Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216, with Rev. William Carmichael officiating. Burial will take place following the service at 1PM in the Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery, 1444 County Road 18 Lake City, FL 32024.Betty is survived by her son Barry (Peggy)Davis of Gastonia, NC, daughter Sandra (Herb)Brinson of Jacksonville, FL., sister Charlene LaDue of Franklin, NC., Five Grandchildren; Mark (Katy) Davis, Stacy (King) Williams, Julie Davis, Clint(Nicole) Brinson, and Holly Brinson. Eight Great Grandchildren; Spencer Davis, Anna Williams, Caroline Williams, Nicholas Riadi, Alex Riadi, Bella Brinson, Jude Brinson and Ayden Brinson. The visitation will take place 30 minutes prior to the funeral service on Monday December 2, 2019.She is preceded in death by her mother Edna Churchwell Simon, her brother Otis Everett, her husband William H. Cring, Jr., her son William H. Cring, III and her husband Herbert L.
