Betty L. Keeler, 80, of Jacksonville Beach, FL passed away on May 30, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 3, 2015 at CrossRoad United Methodist Church, 10005 Gate Pkwy N, Jacksonville, FL 32246. A reception will be held immediately afterward. A Jacksonville native, Betty was born to the late Inez Hunt & Edward Spell on January 26, 1935. Betty embraced living, her family and friends. Throughout her life, she touched many with her selfless giving and support. Always active, Betty enjoyed time with others in her bowling league, at the beach, and, during the past few years, ball room dancing with her close companion, Wilton Stokes. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Henry W. Keeler in 1998. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Angela & David Workman and Mitzi & Gary Stere. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Andrew & Katie Stere, as well as many extended family members.
