BETTY JEAN JACKSON MORGAN

It is with great sadness that our beloved wife, mother and grandmother has passed. She was born in Lee FL on October 18, 1935 and passed away July 5, 2026 at UF Shands, Gainesville FL. She was previously deceased by her parents, Joseph and Betsy Jackson, a brother, Wendell Jackson, and a sister, Josephine Jackson.

Betty was a kind, loving and wonderful woman whom was loved by so many. She worked at the Community Bank in Starke FL for 32 years. She loved travel and camping, or should we say “glamping” in their different rv’s over the years. The grandchildren loved to camp with Granny and Papa at the beach and it gave them time to spoil them. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glynn Morgan of Hawthorne FL, Two sons, Richard “Rickie” Driggers (Mary) and Kirk Driggers, all of Hawthorne FL. She also is survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.

Services will be at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home in Gainesville FL located at 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609 on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 4-7pm. A eulogy will be given at about 5pm. Interment will follow on Thursday, July 9th at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
