Funeral services for Betty Lou Perdue, 96, widow of Felton Perdue, will be held at 10:00a.m. Wednesday December 28th in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South with Scott Perdue officiating. Burial will be in Lawnwood Cemetery, Kingsland, Georgia. Born June 24, 1926 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Maggie and Greene Proffer, Mrs. Perdue died Saturday December 17, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a retired Legal Secretary from the States Attorneys office and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Fonda J. (James) Cote and Elizabeth S. (Malon) Magee, both of Jacksonville; a son, Felton (Mary) Perdue, Jr. of Ponte Vedra, Florida; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, December 27th..There are no gallery images.
