Betty Wade Register

Ms. Betty Wade Register age 92 of Starke passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 5, 1926, to Charles and Nina (McDaniel) Wade on her grandparents farm in Tifton, Georgia and moved to Starke as a young girl. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the United States Department of Agriculture and had also worked at Madison Street Baptist Church as their secretary. Ms. Register was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church and she also enjoyed reading, dancing and crocheting. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Freeman Register III and a grandson Michael Register Bach. Ms. Register is survived by two daughters Betty Ann Chapman (Cliff) of Keystone Heights and Sandra Bach (Mike) of Newport, North Carolina and daughter in-law Paula Register of Hampton Lake. Also left behind are nine grandchildren, Terri Williams (Darren), Traci Waters (Matt), Freeman Register IV, Robin Shirley (Randy), Kimberly Smith (Zack), Summer Bach Hill, Michelle Siner (Trey), Cliff Chapman (Tennille) and Dan Chapman along with ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside services for Ms. Register will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019, with Pastor Scott Crook officiating. Interment will be at Crosby Lake Cemetery.
