Mrs. Betty Ruth Sineath age 69, of Starke passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born May 28, 1950, in Palatka to John and Shellie (Turlington) Hoyt. Mrs. Sineath graduated from Palatka High School and was a retired Administrative Assistant. She was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church and enjoyed cooking, crafting and especially shopping at Goodwill stores and yard sales. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 20 years Keith Sineath and her brother John Hoyt. Mrs. Sineath leaves behind her son Shawn Miller of Starke; two step children Eric Sineath of Fleming Island, Marcy Knight of Bryceville and Mike Qualls (Ginny) of Starke along with siblings Robert Hoyt of Daytona, Bill Hoyt (Ginny) and Daniel Hoyt (April) all of Interlachen, Nita Dillbeck (Ricky) of Hernando, Donald Hoyt of Pomona Park, Kathy Hoyt of Interlachen, Joyce Petruccelli (Dan) of Bradenton, Henry Hoyt (Becky) of Hollister and a sister in-law Jean Hoyt of Satsuma. She was also lovingly called "Grammy" by her two grandchildren Kailia Johnson and Malia Miller and five great grandchildren Jade, Jerimiah, Zaiden, KJ and EJ. Also left behind are multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Graveside services for Mrs. Sineath will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. Larry Litzell officiating. Interment will be at Crosby Lake Cemetery.
