Betty Louise Spencer-Schaupp was born Betty Louise Nickell on Dec. 4, 1938 to Polly Gay Brown and Dennie Nickell in W. Liberty, Kentucky.She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara and Mary and a brother, James.Betty was first and foremost a mother to her six children, five sons, Doug, Mike, Rocky, Scotty and Donnie and her daughter, Pennie. She was partnered to EdThomas for the last 17 years. She is also survived by a brother, Wallace Joe Rowe and his wife Joyce. 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, mother, Nanny, partner, sister, cousin and friend.Betty will be missed most for her strong will and tenacity for life. She was devoted, driven, kind, loving, hardworking, funny and full of life until the veryend. She leaves her family with cherished memories of watching the Kentucky wildcats games, the Gators, Christmas decorations, playing with her grandchildren, fishing and long conversations about everything.
