Mrs. Betty Jean Holland age 89, of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. She was born in Miami on May 21, 1928 to the late Homer and Alma Wood. In 1999, Mrs. Holland moved to Keystone Heights from Live Oak; she was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed clogging, canning vegetables that she grew in her garden and sewing. Mrs. Holland was also a foster parent and had a passion for the dulcimer. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Holland in 2004. Her survivors are three children, Darlene Holland Sawyer of Lake City, Randy E. Holland of Live Oak and Kathy Holland Champion of Keystone Heights. Also left behind are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service for Mrs. Holland will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jim Hubbard officiating.
