Beulah "Marie" Bruner

Mrs. Beulah "Marie" Bruner, age 64, of Lawtey passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family after an extended illness. Marie was born in Lawtey on January 28, 1953 to Milo and Katy (Mitchell) Smith. She was a Stores Specialist with the Florida Department of Corrections. Marie was a member of Highland First Baptist Church, and enjoyed finding a good yard sale. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marie will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her father, Milo Smith. Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Harry E. Bruner, Jr. of Lawtey; mother, Katy McCombs of Lawtey; son, Nathan R. Blom of Raiford; daughter, Amy M. Blom of Lawtey; stepchildren, Cindy Machel (Walter) of Boca, and Mark Bruner (Valerie) of Lake City; and siblings, Charles Smith (Jennifer) of Ohio, Mary Scott (David) of The Villages, Margaret Albert (David) of Jacksonville, John Smith (EChin) of Lawtey, and Martha Hamm (Jason) of Nevada. Also left behind are her grandchildren, Kaylee Bass, Kelcie Bass, Sofia Machel, Taylor Bruner, and Amber Bruner; as well as numerous other family members, and friends.Private family services will be held at a later date.
