Beverly Jean Feltz

Ms. Beverly Jean Feltz, 89, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Custead Care Center in Orange Park. Ms. Feltz was born January 30, 1927 in Paducah, Texas to the late Sneed and Margaret (Stone) Hicks. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Fleming Island where she was a very active parishioner. Beverly was the former President of the Hospital Auxiliary at Orange Park Medical Center, serving 18 years, where she was a full time volunteer. Her husband, Robert Thomas Feltz, and her brother, James "Buddy" Hicks, preceded her in death. Survivors are her son, Robert Thomas Feltz, Jr. of Fleming Island, daughters, Linda Ann Crews of Orange Park, and Carolyn Kay Jolley of Albertville, AL, brother, Kay Hicks (Joanna) of Elgin, TX, and sister in law, Karlin Hicks of Elgin, TX. Also surviving her are her 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, SR 16, Green Cove Springs, with Father Andy Blaszkowski officiating.
