Mr. Bill F. Harp 94 of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Roberts Care Center in Palatka. He was born November 22, 1926, in Kansas, Oklahoma to the late Charles and Ilda (Stone) Harp. Mr. Harp proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Scientific Analyst; his software helped launch many rockets and helped put man on the moon. Mr. Harp moved to Keystone Heights 18 years ago from Melbourne where he served as deacon at the First Baptist Church. He and his wife attended Keystone United Methodist Church and loved taking cruises. He was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post #202 in Keystone; he was highly intelligent and was known for being a "Computer Jockey". Mr. Harp is survived by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 70 years Darlene (Perdue) Harp and their sons Ken, Stan, Charles, and Tim all from the St. Johns, Clay, and Duval areas. He was lovingly called "Grandpa" by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
