Funeral services for Bobby Lee Strickland, 69, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 31, 2016 from the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Duke Graham officiating. Born September 9, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Strickland died Sunday, December 25, 2016 in a local hospital. Mr. Strickland served as a sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War; was a retired heavy equipment operator from St. Johns River Power Park; and was a member of Foster Drive Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruthie Alice Strickland; a daughter, Teresa Virginia (Joe) Frint; and two granddaughters, Zoey Summer Frint and Allie Nicole Frint, all of Jacksonville. Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
