Bonnie Crews Linko Bonnie Crews Linko, 64, passed away September 29, 2012 at Shands Hospital. Born on May 2, 1948 to Vernon Lee and Hattie Bell Crews, Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville. She was a graduate of Englewood High School, Class of 1966, a lifetime member of the P.T.A., former President of the Englewood Choral Boosters and a longtime member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother, and her loving husband of 44 years, John W. Linko, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Graham (husband, Bill) & Angela Linko; many extended family members and friends that include her honorary grandchildren & great grandchildren; her grandcats, Purrsea, Eartha & Princess and granddog, Gracie.Bonnie was a great woman who will be remembered as a woman who lived her life with a big heart, open arms and endless compassion. Her legacy is in all the children she helped raise. Her unique spirit will never be forgotten by all those she touched.The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday October 2, 2012 in George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 3, 2012 in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32216, with Fr. Michael J. Larkin as Celebrant.
