Mrs. Bonnie Jane Means age 56, of Keystone Heights passed away at her home Wednesday, October 11, 2017 with her husband by her side. She was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on December 14, 1960 to the late Orville and Agnes (Pichon) Whatley. On July 8, 1977, Bonnie married the love her life and in November 2002 they made their home in Keystone Heights. Bonnie enjoyed being at home and taking care of her family; she also enjoyed growing plants, art and crafts and interior decorating. Bonnie and her husband had a great time taking trips to the mountains and taking the family on vacations to the beach. Her sister Nancy Sue Johnson had preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Brick Means, III of Keystone Heights and their daughter, Candice Means of Jacksonville; a sisters, Teresa Lenard of Kiln, Mississippi and a brother Reubin Whatley of Paden, Oklahoma. Bonnie was "Mawmaw" to four precious grandchildren, Allyssa Narciso and Chloe Narciso both of St. Johns County, Christian Means of Keystone Heights and Torrian Dabney of Jacksonville. Also left behind are numerous nieces, nephews, additional family members and friends. At Bonnies request there will be no services held.
