Brenda Ann Whitehead

Mrs. Brenda Ann Whitehead age 74, of Starke passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence. Brenda was born on October 3, 1945 in Pembroke, Georgia to the late Vernie and Lenie (Edenfield) Page and was a longtime resident of Bradford County. She retired from the Florida Department of Corrections after 50 years of service working as an Administrative Assistant. Brenda was a member of First Baptist Church of Starke and was active in the nursery for many years loving the children as if they were her own. She was an enormous people person, enjoying visiting with family and friends, and was the first person to step up and help anyone. She loved to share her baked goods with folks, often donating to worthy causes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James "Robert" Whitehead and her son, Brian Whitehead. Survivors are: her children, James (Pamela) Whitehead of Lake Butler, brother, Evan Page of Pembroke, GA, grandchildren, Clay (Liz) Whitehead of Jennings, Taylor (Justin) Woods of Lake Butler, and great granddaughter, Maddie Woods. Also left are, brother-in-laws, Jerry Whitehead and Barry Whitehead, sister-in-laws, Marilyn Page, Carol Page, Marian Page, Val Page, Beverly Page, Linda Johns, Sandra (Jim) Reddish, Elaine Tyler, and Joan Whitehead along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Starke with Reverend Ben Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Conner Cemetery.
