Mr. Brian Wayne Gray, 37 of Middleburg, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, unexpectedly. Brian was born October 6, 1984 in Jacksonville to parents Allan Wayne Gray and Lisa Marie (Andreu) Gray. Brian was the owner of Grays Diesel Performance in Middleburg and was the proud owner of the worlds fastest 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel. From the age of 6 Brian raced motorcross then at the age of 18 he became a pro rider and was picked up by factory Team Suzuki. In 2003 he was AMA Motorcross/Supercross rookie of the year. Nowadays you would have found him at the racetrack pushing his 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel to the mid 4's with Andrew Fultz & Travis Home or at the BMX track with his kids & Lynn. The last few months he enjoyed down time clearing his property. He was preceded in death by son Tyler Gray, aunt Cheryl Gray, & grandfather Aubrey Andreu. Survivors are his son Jase Gray, life partner Lynn Morgan, mom Lisa Gray (Glenn), dad Allan Gray (Kim), brother Drake Gray, step brother Jason Smith, Jr., grandparents Yates Gray (Kathleen), Helga Andreu, Aunt Robin Carpenter (Jerry), Uncle Alan Andreu (Shelly), Uncle Jeff Hines, cousins Kyle Hough, Dustin Hough (Amber), Jakob Hines, Kaili Hines, Hannah Andreu, Bella Kissinger, Kelby Gray and lots of extended family and many, many friends. He was never a stranger to anyone. He left a legacy in the motorcross/supercross & Diesel world. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the First Black Creek Baptist Church, 3904 State Road 16 West, Penney Farms, Florida 32079 with Pastor Gary Melvin officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the 11am service. Graveside services will follow at the First Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
