Bruce David Reese, 71, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Orange Park. He was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to Norman and Carol Reese (Romeka) on April 17, 1953. Bruce graduated from Samuel Wolfson High School in 1971. He had a fifty-year career as a cross-country truck driver through 48 states, 8 provinces of Canada, and Mexico. He was an enthusiast of all categories of professional automobile racing. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman O. Reese, mother, Carol Reese Romeka, and nephew, Gregory Reynolds. Bruce is survived by sisters, Lauren Dehaan (Rob Dehaan), Dana Hope (Chris Hope), Lee Reese (Brian James), niece Lauren Shiver (Tony Shiver), and great niece and nephew, Sophie and Luke Shiver. No services are planned at this time, and the family will scatter ashes at a later date. Donations to Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
