Mr. Bruno Kenneth "Ken" McDaniels, Sr., age 70, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Wednesday, December 31, 2014. He was born in Statesville, North Carolina on January 18, 1944 to the late David and Mary (Lambert) McDaniels and has been a longtime resident of the Keystone Heights and Starke area. Mr. McDaniels was the owner and operator of the Waldo Supermarket and he enjoyed fishing and working. Survivors are his two sons; Kenny McDaniels his wife Teresa of Buford, Georgia and Steven McDaniels his wife Stephanie of Thomasville, North Carolina; five siblings, Bill McDaniels, Lane McDaniels, and Brenda Steel all of Statesville, North Carolina, Dorth McDaniels and June Starns both of Charlotte, North Carolina and the mother of his two sons, Jean Wall. Also left behind are his grandchildren, Christina Horrel, Cody McDaniels, Kayla McDaniels, and Grant McDaniels along with one great granddaughter, Olivia Horrel. The family will be having a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to a childrens foundation of your choice.
