Mr. Bryan Albert Rosier age 27, of Lawtey passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2010 suddenly. Bryan was born on July 26, 1983 in Jacksonville and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Rosier worked for Florida State Prison as a Correctional Officer, and was a Military Policeman with the Florida National Guard 715th located in Melbourne. He was a Baptist, a member of the P.B.A., and proud to be a Soldier having served in Afghanistan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marvin Rosier and Albert & Geneva Smith. Survivors are: his mother: Roxanne Smith Rosier of Lawtey; father: Steven Lamar Rosier, Sr. of Lawtey; brothers: Steven Lamar Rosier, Jr. of Bryceville; James Ryan Rosier of Glen St. Mary; sister: Rachael Rebekah Rosier of Jacksonville; girlfriend: Hannah Haas of Starke; paternal grandmother: Louise Rosier of Lawtey; several aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Funeral services for Mr. Rosier will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 4:00 PM in NORTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH (corner of NW CR225 and State Rd 16) with Reverend Larry Finley and Mr. Jeff Knuckols officiating. The family will receive friends in the church for a visitation from 2-4 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Crosby Lake Cemetery Mausoleum.
