Byron Scott Todd was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida on August 18, 1968 and went to be home with our Lord on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 just eight days shy of his 54th birthday. He was a member of Orange Avenue Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church of Glen St. Mary. Scott was born with Downs Syndrome and was lovingly cared for by his parents Loyd and Edna until their passing. Scott loved wrestling and wrestling movies. He also liked to drink beer whenever he could. He enjoyed family reunions in Alabama in years passed and was able to take a very special cruise with his caregiver this year. His final gift was being an organ donor to help save others. Scott will be missed by his family, friends, and caregivers.Scott was preceded in death by his father Loyd Todd, mother Edna Todd, nieces Amber Brandye Todd, Megan Elizabeth Fothergill, nephew Adam Gabriel Fothergill and great niece Aubree Marie Tucker. He is survived by siblings, Elizabeth (Robert) Chittenden, W. Douglas (Julia) Todd, and Ronald (Kean) Todd, seven nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christian Pope officiating.
