C. Rahl George C. Rahl George passed away on March 8, 2013. He was born January 1, 1920 to Anna and Clarence George of Barnesboro, Pennsylvania.Rahl attended Geneva College class of 1942 and attended the Wharton School of Business. He was employed by the State of Pennsylvania and the Department of Defense Quartermaster Corp during WWII. He was later employed by Transamerica Corp and participated in a business partnership in Jacksonville, Florida. He was an officer and director of both US Finance and Production Operators. He served as CEO of Rhodes Furniture Company until he retired in 1982. Rahl was a 40-year resident of Deerwood in Jacksonville. His wife of 61 years, Catherine, predeceased him in 2003.
