Lowe, Calvin LyleFuneral services for Calvin Lyle Lowe, 85, will be held at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, September 7th in The Village Church at World Golf Village, 4229 Pacetti Road, St. Augustine, FL with Rev. Eliut Alicea of Bridge of Life Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers and his grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Born February 3, 1936 in Big Timber, Montana to Genevieve and Marcus Lowe, Mr. Lowe died Friday, August 27, 2021 in St. Augustine, Florida. He was the retired owner and operator of Cals Barber Shop and a member of Bridge of Life Church. Mr. Lowe was predeceased by his wife, Danice Rose Lowe, a grandson, Chad Lambert and two sisters, Gladys Makeess and Juanita Wagner. Survivors include five daughters, Debra (Thomas) Hall of Hawthorne, FL, Carla (Roy) Fagernes of St. Augustine, FL, Sheri (Marshall) Hartley of Lake Wales, FL, Becky (Forrest) Masters and Gennifer (Jack) Wright, both of St. Augustine, FL; three sons, Richard (Vickie) Oliver of St. Paul, Virginia, Lyle (Kathy) Lowe and Marcus (Yvonne) Lowe, both of St. Augustine, FL; a sister, Dolores (Alfred) Fournier of Homosassa FL; three brothers, Clinton (Doris) Lowe of Bismarck, North Dakota, Donald (Shirley) Lowe and Glen (Linda) Lowe both of Jacksonville; 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and a friend, Cynthia Drawdy. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South where the family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. on Sunday, September 5th.
