Carl Monroe Hill Funeral services for Carl Monroe Hill, 71, who passed away on January 19, 2014, will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM in North Jacksonville Baptist Church, 8531 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32218, with Dr. Herb Reavis Jr., officiating. Mr. Hill was born in Jennings, Florida and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He was a locksmith by trade and was a member of the American Legion Post #137 and the North Jacksonville Baptist Church. He worked in the family business for many years known as Brentwood Hardware. He was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Carla Hill Mayo.
