Carl E. Roberts Sr

Mr. Carl E. Roberts, Sr., 86, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Mr. Roberts was born May 8, 1931 in Green Cove Springs to the late James Everett and Burnice C. (Frisbee) Roberts. He served 6 years in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW, was employed by Johns-Manville, and a lifelong resident of Clay County. His wife, Mary Nell Roberts, preceded him in death. Survivors are his son, Carl E. Roberts, Jr. of California, daughters, Ella Louise Judd of South Carolina and Jean Marie Roberts of Middleburg, as well as 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Penney Farms Memorial Cemetery.
