Carlie Mae Triest

Mrs. Carlie Mae Triest age 84, of Starke passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Triest was born on December 7, 1930 in Theressa to the late William H. and Vera Louise (Padgett) Hall and was a lifelong resident of Bradford County. Carlie was a homemaker, member of Hope Baptist Church and Orange Heights Baptist Church family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Gerry W. Triest in 1962. Survivors are: her husband of 65 years Ernest Triest of Starke, children: Dora Broome and Ernest Triest, Jr. (Vanessa) all of Theressa, brothers: William H. Hall, Jr. (Shirley) and Dennis K. Hall (Janet). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Aaron Broome (Jamie), Amy Davis (Tom), and Amber Sapp (Brian), great grandchildren: Jenna Moss, Luke Sapp, Elijah Sapp, Jackson Broome, Brantley Broome, and Ryker Broome. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Morgan officiating.
