Mr. Carlton "Harrold" Martin, Jr. age 72 of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at St. Vincents Hospital in Middleburg. He was born in Jacksonville, November 6, 1948, to Carlton and Edna (Brinson) Martin Sr. For many years Mr. Martin worked as a HVACR technician. He was a Baptist, Sons of AMVETS Post 86 in Keystone and was known for being a type "O" blood donor on a regular basis. He also enjoyed being out on his boat fishing but most of all loved being with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Annie Ruth (Fort) Martin. Survivors include his sons Carl (Emily) Martin, and Carlton Martin III all of Keystone Heights; daughters, Theresa (Lee) White and Janet (Jimmy) Brown all of Middleburg. Also left behind are his sisters Brenda Rowlings of Keystone Heights, and Debbie Martin of Upstate New York. He was lovingly called "Pop" and "Papa" by his grandchildren Kyle, Skyler, Amelia, Damion, Alexas, Guy, Lee, Buddy, Curtis, and Haley. Graveside services for Mr. Martin will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2021, with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
