Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, Carmen Martinez Rivera quien partió el 10/20/2025 a los 84 años, rodeada de su familia.

Nacida el 15 de Septiembre del 1941 en Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. Fue una mujer amorosa, fuerte y generosa. Dedicó su vida a su familia y dejó una huella imborrable en todos los que la conocieron. Su amor, consejos y ejemplo vivirán siempre en nosotros.

Le sobreviven Carmen L Powell, William F Martinez, David M Martinez, nietos, bisnietos, hermanos y otros familiares.

La ceremonia de despedida se llevará a cabo el Jueves, 23 de October en Forest Meadows Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Gainesville, Florida a la 1 PM.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carmen Martinez Rivera, who departed on October 20, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 15, 1941, in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. Carmen was a loving, strong, and generous woman who dedicated her life to her family and left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Her love, wisdom, and example will live on in all of us.

She is survived by her children Carmen L. Powell, William F. Martinez, David M. Martinez, her former husband, William Martinez, with whom she maintained a warm and close relationship, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and other family members.

A farewell ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 23, at 1 PM at Forest Meadows Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Gainesville, Florida.
