Carmen Leann Nesmith

Miss Carmen Leann NeSmith, 25 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017. Miss NeSmith was born February 17, 1992 in Jacksonville. She was a Certified Medical Assistant and a graduate of Clay High school where she was on the Dance Team and a cheerleader for the Blue Devils. She recently found a passion for rock climbing, and loved playing with her bulldog Honey, who went everywhere with her. Carmen will always be remembered as the best big sister and aunt there ever was. Her grandmothers, Gloria NeSmith and Joan Steding and her uncle, Adam NeSmith preceded her in death. Survivors are her parents, Stephen and Penny NeSmith; siblings, Stephen Russell NeSmith, Jr. (Lauren), Tabitha Faye NeSmith, Casey Holsinger (Robert), Glenn Rose (Yoandra "Jo-Jo"), Alex Ryann NeSmith, Jacob Elijah See, Sara Rose NeSmith, Savannah Lily NeSmith, and Emma Grace NeSmith; grandparents, Linton NeSmith, David and Joyce See, and Ron Steding; Aunts and Uncles, Jennifer and John Shedlin, Rebecca NeSmith, Tommy and Cathy NeSmith, John and Lenore See, Robert Riley, and David W. See, III, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dog, Honey. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at HELM-GALLAGHER Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
