Carol Ann Gordon

Mrs. Carol Ann Gordon age 74, of Keystone Heights passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Shands UF in Gainesville. She was born July 31, 1944, in Manhattan, New York to John and Mary (Martinez) Moscoso and had moved to Keystone Heights in 1997 from Miami where she graduated from Miami High School with the class of 1962. Mrs. Gordon was employed with Bellsouth Telephone Company for 39 years before retiring as their Supervisor of Directory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights where she was also the church secretary for several years; she enjoyed playing cards, reading and taking cruises but most of all she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her brother Albert Moscoso. Mrs. Gordon leaves behind her husband of 50 years Leslie "Les" Gordon of Keystone Heights; six children Robin Hancock of Jacksonville, Chris Strouse (Richard) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kevin Gordon (Laurie) of Cooper City, Karen Levine (Bob) of Pickens, South Carolina, Artie Gordon (Stephanie) of Keystone Heights and Jason Neiss (Neaka) of High Springs. Also left behind is her mother Mary (Martinez) Moscoso of South Florida and a brother Thomas "Tommy" Moscoso (Patti) of Longwood; six grandchildren Dillon Moyd (Emily), Zach Moyd (Sara), Jake Hancock, Matthew Gordon (Hilary), Christopher Gordon and Nicholas "Nick" Gordon and three great grandchildren Jason Neiss, Jr., Marcus Neiss and Penelope Gordon. Viewing for Mrs. Gordon will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Prose and Pastor Daniel Findley officiating.
