Carol Ann Higginbotham Carol Ann Higginbotham 68, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away Saturday November 23, 2013. She was born July12, 1945 in Tarboro, North Carolina to parents Adolf and Blanche Skundberg. Mrs. Higginbotham grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia where she attended and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1963. After high school she attended Frederick College from 1963 to 1967. Carol was a retired bookkeeper and a Jacksonville resident since 1987.She is preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law, Nancy & Julian McLeod. Surviving her is her husband, Frank Higginbotham; a daughter, Kellye E. Higginbotham; granddaughter, Aaliyah Clark; sister, Jean (Bill) Smith; brother-in-law, Coit Higginbotham; nephews, Hank (Jennifer) McLeod and James (Catherine) McLeod, along with many other loving family members.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 AM at Englewood Baptist Church, 5675 Kennerly Rd., Jacksonville, FL with Rev.
