Carole Jean Moore, 72 went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at her home in Jacksonville, FL, with her family by her side after a two-year struggle with cancer. She was born August 7, 1942 in Morganton, NC, the daughter of Clarence and Beatrice Suddreth. She graduated in June 1965 from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Carole is truly a woman of joy and strength. Her faith in God and indomitable spirit shined through even when battling cancer. She loved to laugh; her bright smile and optimistic perspective were contagious. She was most proud of her title as great-grandmother. She was generous beyond measure. Carole is survived by her husband Robert H. Moore Jr; sons Dan and John Moore; daughters Kaaran Roulo, Rebecca Moore, Linda Masci and Melissa Alagon; her sister Sylvia Little; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life service for family and friends on Monday June 1, 2015 at 10AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216. The family will have a private burial following the service at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
