Carolyn Hutcheson Fuqua

Starke - Carolyn Hutcheson Fuqua, 80, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Starke on June 19, 1937, to the late Clarence and Edith (Conner) Hutcheson and was a lifelong area resident. Carolyn retired from the Department of Corrections as an Administrative Secretary to the Warden in 1993. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband C.K. Fuqua and her grandson, Brian Fuqua. Survivors include her son Steve Fuqua of Starke; grandson, John Fuqua; and sister Linda (Wallace) Wise of Starke. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Conner Cemetery with Reverend Roman Alvarez officiating.
