Carolyn Annette Henkemeyer, 91, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Jack W. and Bertha Pitts.

Carolyn was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. She lived a full and creative life, known for her artistic talents and her love of hands-on crafts. She spent many years line dancing, a pastime that brought her great joy, and she was especially gifted in ceramics and sewing. Carolyn was a talented artist who loved working with clay, creating pieces that reflected both her creativity and her passion. She also loved spending time in her garden.

Carolyn loved to do things her way, a trait that made her strong, independent, and uniquely herself. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She loved the Lord deeply, and her belief brought her comfort, strength, and peace.

Above all, Carolyn's greatest love was her family. She cherished every moment spent with them and was especially proud to be part of five generations, a legacy that meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Barbara Ann Brown and Candace Lynn Lowe; and her granddaughter, Rachel Keefer.
