ObituaryMrs. Carolyn Rebecca HindsBy Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home of Keystone HeightsMrs. Carolyn Rebecca Hinds age 80 of Keystone Heights, beloved wife and mother passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 following a long illness. She was born in Dunnellon, Florida on April 18, 1928 to Roy and Janie Driggers Ross, and grew up in Gator Country graduating from Bradford High School. Mrs. Hinds was a stay at home mother who felt her greatest accomplishment was raising good, healthy children. She attended Freedom Baptist Church in Keystone Heights. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Kenneth R. Hinds, Sr. of Keystone Heights; children: Connie S. Stophel (Thomas) of Jacksonville; Kenneth R. Hinds, Jr. (Brenda); Richard A. Hinds (Margaret); Tammy L. Ratliff (Bill) all of Keystone Heights; Lawrence M. Hinds (Sharon) of Starke; sister: Louise Rosier of Lawtey; twelve grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Private graveside funeral services for Mrs. Hinds were held on Friday, December 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM in Hope Cemetery with Reverend Wes Hunt officiating.
