Carolyn Jeanette MacPherson returned peacefully home to God on Friday, April 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born on December 4, 1932 in Andalusia, Alabama to Sylvester & Lillie Mae Shehane. Jeanette grew up in Warren, Ohio, though Gainesville was home for the last 34 years.A smile was her countenance, vivacious, kind and selfless her nature. She always said she felt closest to God when communing with birds and nature and so she flew away.Survived by three daughters, Stephanie Andries, Cindy MacPherson & Cathilynne Flatt; four grandchildren, Ian, Jordan, Derek and Megan; one surviving sibling, Frank Shehane of Warren, Ohio.
