Carolyn V. Williams

Mrs. Carolyn V. Williams, age 76, of Middleburg passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019, in Jacksonville at Community Hospice. Mrs. Williams was born September 4, 1943, in Adel, Georgia to George Washington and Lela "Bennett" Phillips. For many years Carolyn worked as a nurses aide and as a retail manager. She attended Black Pond Baptist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed being with her family, flowers, watching birds, and was known for her love of dancing. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Marcus L. Williams. Mrs. Williams leaves behind two daughters Lisa (David) Headrick and Angela (Mark) McKinney. She was lovingly called "Nana" by Bradley McKinney, Mark Alan McKinney, Derek Headrick, and Brandon Headrick along with eight great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Stanland officiating. Interment will be in the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
