Catherine Irene Williams

Mrs. Catherine Irene Williams age 86, of Hampton Lake passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Riverwood Health and Rehab. Mrs. Williams was born on August 12, 1934 in Virginia to the late Oliver and Alice (Woodyard) Miller and moved to Hampton Lake from Jacksonville. Catherine was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church and most recently a member of Sampson City Baptist Church. She worked as a Restaurant Manager in her early years, but was a true homemaker, loving animals and all children. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lysle Williams and her daughter Renee Bednarski. Survivors are: children, Melissa (Bobby) Frampton of Hampton Lake, Kirk (Danielle) Williams of Hampton Lake, sisters, Frances Ross and Ann Masud. Also left are, grandchildren, Beth (David) Alphonse) of Hampton Lake, Emily (Dillon) Moyd of Jacksonville, Abigail Williams and Hannah Williams both of Hampton Lake, Robert Bednarski and James Bednarski, one great grandchild, Vincent Alphonse. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Santa Fe Cemetery with Pastor Dillon Moyd officiating. Interment will follow services.
