Catherine Jo Jarrell age 72 of Green Cove Springs

Ms. Catherine Jo Jarrell, age 72 of Green Cove Springs, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She was born on July 5, 1954, in Cobleskill, New York and was raised in Green Cove Springs where she made many memories with family and friends. Prior to retiring Catherine had worked many years in the Food Service Industry. She was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed sewing, spending time in her garden, nurturing her plants, and taking leisurely walks to stay active. Throughout her life, Catherine maintained her Methodist faith, which provided her with strength and comfort. She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar Ray and Marilyn (Murphy) Jarrell and a sister, Cheryl Phillips.

She is survived by her sisters, Colleen Sicinia, Carolyn Miller, and Kate Fairleigh, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory. Catherine also had a special fondness for her beloved cat, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Community Hospice in memory of Catherine. There are no services scheduled at this time.
