Catherine Jeanette Silcox Wilson

Mrs. Catherine Jeanette Silcox Wilson age 86, of Starke passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Lake Butler on September 30, 1930 to the late Eddie and Minnie Lee (Green) Silcox. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church where she and her granddaughter were baptized together; she loved fishing, watching wrestling and going to the races. Her son, Marvin Wilson and two brothers, Roy Silcox and Francis Silcox had preceded her in death. Mrs. Wilson is survived by four children; Linda Bowen (Robert) of Starke, Joe Wilson (Terri) of Lake Butler, Bonnie Benckowsky (Stan) of Starke and Chuck Wilson (Julie) of Raiford. Also left behind are eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will begin receiving friends at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Mrs. Wilsons two grandsons, Pastor Kenneth R. Norman and Pastor Stacey Bowen will be officiating. Interment will follow at Dyal Cemetery. The family would like thank Dr. Carl Eason and Windsor Manor Nursing Home and their staff for the love, care and attention they gave Mrs. Wilson the past two years.
