Mrs. Cathy Ann Wooten age 71 of Hampton passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at St. Vincents Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born November 7, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Billy and Lois (Martin) Atnip. Cathy enjoyed all sorts of crafting with Christmas crafts being her favorite, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years James Wooten and their children Melissa Cantrell and Kenneth Wooten. Also left behind are grandchildren Andrew Whited, Brian Whited, Alexis Wooten, and Connie Wooten, along with great granddaughters Alaia Wooten and Ava Wooten. Cathy had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed as she was greatly loved by her family, friends, and especially her fur babies.
