Mother-in-law of four including Augustus Ramrekersingh, Nirmalla Maharaj and Sharon Hassanali. Grandmother of Ambarish, Sayana, Vinay, Devisha, Kavir and Arista. Sister of the late Pundit Krishna and Prabhudath Maharaj, Sase Maharaj and Radhica Maharaj. Niece of Josadra Gosine. Sister-in- law of Sumintra Maharaj, Dhanmatie Maharaj, Molly Maharaj, Gaitri Maharaj, Savitri Ramdial, Jenty Maharaj, Chandrabhan Maharaj (deceased) and Harrinath Maharaj (deceased). Aunt of Rupa, Anupa, Passin, Deodat, Sati, Sham, Veena, Vashti, Varun, Wayne, Wendy, Claudette, Paulette, Joan and many others.
