Mr. Charles Cornell, born on November 22, 1945 passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was the son of the late Floyd and Ethel Cornell of Earlville, N.Y. He graduated from Hamilton High School in Hamilton, N.Y. He was a past member of the Hamilton and Earlville Fire Depts. in New York. Mr. Cornell was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Jo-Ellen Cornell; a son, Ronald Cornell; 2 Step Children, Mary Jo Lawson and John Kowalski; and 2 Grand Children, Dylan and Austin Cornell. Several Cousins also survive. He was a deputy sheriff for Madison Co. N.Y. for 14 years and Chenango Co in N.Y. for 10 years before retiring in 2001. Upon his retirement, he moved to Starke, FL, and worked at the Starke/Gainesville KOA until 2011. He enjoyed motorcycles, spending time with family and friends, reading, and his pets.
